Dead or Alive: Lei Fang

I actually know this one.

Or should know this one.

She's fairly famous, both the cosplayer and the character, but I've been beating my head about her for a month now and I still don't remember which fighting game she's from.

I must be getting old.

Someone please tell me what character she's cosplaying?

Pretty please?

...wasn't it a "Mai" something?

Dead or Alive: Kasumi 02

Known as "the Kunoichi of Destiny”, Kasumi is a skilled ninja trained in the Mugen Tenshin Style of Ninjutsu and was to become the 18th Master of her clan. Instead, she ran away to enter the Dead or Alive tournament in order to defeat Raidou, the person responsible for crippling her brother, Hayate. This decision labeled her as a nukenin, a runaway shinobi, obligating her to run from her former comrades who must hunt her for her treacherous act.

Beautiful cosplay! I think there was a PVC figure with the same pose. I really love her long hair. Thank you for sharing this! And if anyone knows who the cosplayer or photographer is, do leave me a comment!

Dead or Alive: Ayane 02

The half sister of Kasumi and Hayate, Ayane has always lived in the shadow of her sister, causing her much pain and hatred towards Kasumi. She is an expert at Ninjutsu, with a fighting style known as “Female Tengu”. Her reason for fighting in the Dead or Alive World Combat championship is to pursue Kasumi, then labeled a traitor of the Mugen Tenshin Clan.

I can’t believe the details of this cosplay! It must have taken a lot of time and effort to look for those fabric patterns and put them all together. And she has a gorgeous wig too. Nice work!

Dead or Alive: Ayane

A child born from rape, Ayane was labelled a “poison child” in her ninja clan. She was made to believe that she was an orphan, abandoned by her own mother because of the circumstances of her birth.

One village festival, Ayame, the wife of the leader of her clan, revealed to her that she was Ayane’s mother. This made her envious of the clan princess, Kasumi for being treated like a princess while she, her half sister, was being treated like dirt.

Dead or Alive: Kasumi

This year’s Tokyo Game Show took place on September 22-23 in Japan. A lot of people were there for the game demos and releases, while others were there because of the cosplay.

Take NUTS!!!! for example. Randy, the blog’s author, was trying to decide whether or not he should take pictures and videos of the games, or the cosplay. In the end, he decided that cosplay should be his priority in taking photos of since people could simply access the official websites for the games.

This Dead or Alive cosplay was probably the best from his collection of photographs. I would think Randy agrees with me on this since he did take a lot of photos of her. And really, you don’t get to see a lot of good Kasumi cosplays everyday. (I don’t like the ones that make Kasumi look “bad” if you know what I mean).
