Kuroshitsuji: Drocell Cainz

A character who only appeared in the anime adaptation, Drocell Cainz used the Hope Diamond in order to kidnap chosen girls and turn them into dolls. He lured Elizabeth Middleford, Ciel's cousin and fiance, with the lullaby "London Bridge" from his music box. Drocell claims to be human but later had "white stuff" falling from his ear suggesting that he too was a mere puppet controlled his master, who is still unknown at this point.

Cosplayer ~fxxkanddie R.D. makes a beautiful Drocell and it's the Visual Kei version too! Beautiful photography by *Fantastiqueist! Thanks for sharing this and Happy April Fools everyone!

Kuroshitsuji: Doll

The beautiful and enigmatic tightrope walker, Doll is among the First Tier performers of the Noah's Ark Circus. Although the First Tier have special tents set up for them, she pretends to be a new male member known as "Sobakasu" or Freckles, as she doesn't like sleeping alone. She later attempts to take Ciel's life for killing her circus family, but fails to do so thanks to Sebastian. Her fate after that is left undetermined.

Cosplayer ClamWings makes a beautiful Doll! I love all the details in her costume. Thanks to Itoshi for sending this in!

Kuroshitsuji: Sebastian Michaelis 04

A demon and a butler, Sebastian Michaelis formed a contract with Ciel Phantomhive to abide by his master’s will in exchange for his soul. He is required to do whatever Ciel commands, including becoming his personal bodyguard. Sebastian bears a striking resemblance to Ciel’s late father, Lord Vincent Phantomhive.

Awesome cosplay! And that blurred hand… do you think that’s blood on his glove? Thanks to Bailiff for sending this in!

Kuroshitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive 04

The young Earl of the Phantomhive household, Ciel runs the Funtom Company which manufactures toys and sweets, and later, a food branch as Sebastian obtained the Royal Warrant. He enjoys drinking tea and sweet desserts, and is even known to distinguish different types of tea. Ciel also has asthma, the same with his mother, and is a proficient hunter, presumably like his father.

Beautiful cosplay! I always loved to see Ciel smiling rather than expressionless. Good job on the details!

Kuroshitsuji: Sebastian Michaelis 03

Oh, hello there.

I think people may have noticed I had to take down the shoutbox for a while. My site was getting a virus alert and I think someone may have left it there.

Also, I have noticed a lot of people are fighting in my comments lately, and saying unappropriate things. Which is sad when my shoutbox has a lot of good comments.

So for now, the shoutbox will be taken down until I can get rid of the virus. I hope everyone will continue to support Cosplay Holic! And for today, I will leave you with Stay's version of Kuroshitsuji's Sebastian Michaelis. わたしはあくまで執事ですから~!

Kuroshitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive 03

Losing everything he had at a very young age, Ciel makes a contract with a demon he calls Sebastian Michaelis to gain his revenge in exchange for his soul. He is portrayed to be emotionless and driven to achieve his goal by any means necessary. However, as the series progresses, he confesses to being the way he is so that he will not lose anything, or rather, anyone important to him ever again.

I believe there's a similar manga illustration that shows Ciel holding a skull. I can't remember which chapter that was though. It makes me wonder if that thing the cosplayer is holding is a real skull.

EDIT: Oh, the art similar to this cosplay was first seen on Kuroshitsuji Chapter 13. Thanks to the anon who left a comment!

Kuroshitsuji: Agni and Prince Soma Asman Cadart

An arrogant Prince from India, Prince Soma Asman Cadart came to England in order to find his beloved maidservant whom he saw as an older sister. He did not realize that Meena had run away due to his spoiled nature and chose to become the rich wife of Lord Harold West.

His loyal servant, Agni, wishes to keep this secret away from his master, whom he saw as his god for saving him from death and giving him new life. Though his intentions are pure, Sebastian and Ciel shows him that he can not and should not protect his master from reality in order for his master to see the world for what it truly is.

A rather impressive display. I was glad that Prince Soma learned from his mistakes and grew up, even if it was just a little bit. Beautiful detailed cosplay!

Kuroshitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive 02

Constantly vigilant to do as his queen orders, Ciel Phantomhive seemingly rose from the deepest despair to find answers and destroy all who have wronged the Phantomhive Family.

Impossible? Not for a 12-year-old boy with a demon butler by his side.

Beautiful Ciel! I dare say a fair competition for Omiya Lotus… who is your favorite?

Kuroshitsuji: Sebastian Michaelis 02

Sebastian's name is actually not his own. It is a name given to him by Ciel Phantomhive when they came upon an agreement; Sebastian is to help Ciel with his revenge and Ciel will give his soul to Sebastian as payment.

Later in the series, it is revealed that the name "Sebastian" actually the name Ciel gave to his pet dog. Historically, the name is similar to Father Sebastien Michaelis, who compiled a hierarchy of Demons in Hell.

I'm not sure why people would even consider selling their soul to the devil, but people make decisions to which they think at that time is the right one. Wonderful job on this cosplay!

EDIT: Thanks to Simmy for commenting that this is Kamishiro Rei from Deviant Art!

Kuroshitsuji: Undertaker

As his name suggests, Undertaker is an eccentric funeral director and Ciel Phantomhive's informant who prefers to be paid, not by money, but by a good laugh for any information he might have. At first, it seems that only a select few (Sebastian being one of them) could get him to laugh, but recently, a detective made him laugh by merely introducing himself.

Why that is, no one knows yet.

This is a wonderfully convincing cosplay of the Undertaker! It would be interesting to see this cosplayer in person. Great work!

Kuroshitsuji: Madam Red and Grell Sutcliff

"Madam Red" is a title given to Angelina Durless who is well known for her red appearance and clothing. She at first, hated her red hair that she inherited from her father, until Ciel's father, Lord Phantomhive said he liked it.

Sadly, Lord Phantomhive chose to marry Angelina's sister. She married someone else and was content for a while until a tragic accident took away her husband and her unborn child. She could no longer conceive because they had to remove her womb to save her life. Much to her distress, she was a doctor who often performed abortions on prostitutes who find children to be "troublesome".

Her tragedy led to her demise as she began murdering her own patients for their lack of appreciation for human life. That was when Grell Sutcliff, a cross-dressing shinigami (death god), met her and together they became known as "Jack the Ripper".

I feel sorry for Madam Red, although I am equally disturbed at how infatuated Grell is with Sebastian. I found this picture in Asian Cosplay, and they have a ton of really good cosplay pictures! Go and visit their site when you have the chance. :D

Madam Red is cosplayed by Manori. Good job!

Kuroshitsuji: Sebastian Michaelis

The butler of the Phantomhive household, Sebastian Michaelis is akuma de shitsuji desukara, literally "a demon and a butler" or "one hell of a butler". He is actually the demon with whom Ciel Phantomhive has formed a contract with, to serve him and protect him until he fulfills his goals.

And of course, as soon as that happens, Sebastian will take Ciel's soul; as their contract states.

A rather splendid cosplay of the demon "servant". It would be interesting to know why exactly he would go to such lengths to get Ciel's soul. I wouldn't think demons would work so hard for just any soul. Great cosplaying!

Kuroshitsuji: Ciel Phantomhive

Ciel Phantomhive is the 12-year-old head of the noble Phantomhive family. He took over the family business at a young age due to the death of his parents. His right eye is always covered because it bears the contract between him and his butler (who is also his bodyguard and a demon) Sebastian Michaelis.

Omiya Lotus is a cosplayer on Deviant Art. She’s a really good cosplayer and it’s thanks to Prudencee Lumiere’s comment that I was able to find her. A huge thanks to Prudencee for leaving me a comment, and to Omiya for sharing her cosplay with us! Please take some time to visit their site when you can!
