Card Captor Sakura: Li Syaoran, Daidouji Tomoyo, and Kinomoto Sakura

When Sakura opened the book of the Clow Cards, she accidentally unseals the cards and its guardian, Cerberus, says it is now her responsibility to retrieve the cards once more. Her best friend, Tomoyo, films her adventures and provides her with special clothes she designed for each exploit.

Not long after, a rival appears before her; Li Syaoran, a descendent of Clow Reed, creator of the Clow Cards and their guardians, Kero and Yue. And now they must compete to see who is truly worthy of becoming the Master of the Clow Cards.

Card Captor Sakura: Kinomoto Sakura 06

A 10-year-old girl from Tomoeda, Japan, Sakura finds a mysterious book entitled “The Clow” in her father’s study. There, she awakens the book’s guardian, Cerberus, and find out that the book once contained 19 powerful, magical cards. Cerberus then enlists Sakura to become the card captor in order to reclaim the cards that were lost.

That is the story of the manga, of course. The anime has a different interpretation.

So pretty this cosplayer is from Winter Comiket! She’s definitely the older version of little Sakura, but I don’t think anyone is complaining! Thanks to Yumi for sending this in!

Card Captor Sakura: Kinomoto Sakura 05

When 10-year-old Sakura finds a mysterious book in her father's study, she had no idea opening it would change her life forever.

Created by an English-Chinese Sorcerer, Clow Reed, the Clow Cards were sealed into the Clow Book upon his death closely and guarded by Cerberus, the Beast of the Seal. Because the cards had been released, Sakura must find and seal each and every card before catastrophe befalls the world.

She's just one of the cutest cosplayers I've ever seen. If anyone knows who this cosplayer is, please do leave me a comment. Wonderful job!

Card Captor Sakura: Li Syaoran 02

Sakura's rival who eventually became her close friend and ally, Syaoran had mixed feelings towards Sakura because his duty as a member of the Li clan of sorcerers from Hong Kong prompts him to be the inheritor of the Clow Cards. When Sakura becomes the official master of the Clow Cards, however, he changes his attitude completely and eventually ends up falling in love with her.

The teddy bear in the picture is quite significant with regards to their relationship. In the CCS world, if someone were to give a hand-made plush to the one he loves, and if she were to give the plush the same name as its creator, they are destined to be together forever. What happens in the anime and the manga are two variations of the same ending, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone.

Pretty unique way of cosplaying Syaoran. I believe his costume is from another art illustration by CLAMP. Still very impressive though, wouldn't you agree?

Card Captor Sakura: Kinomoto Sakura 04

Upon capturing all the Clow Cards and slowly transforming each one into Sakura Cards, Kinomoto Sakura faced her final judgement against Eriol. Much like Clow's magic, Sakura's magic is a balance between the sun and moon, which is later noted by Clow himself, stating Sakura's magic comes from a brilliant, ever-shining star.

Because she successfully transformed all the cards and developed her magic steadily, Sakura is said to have surpassed Clow Reed as being the most powerful magician in the world.

Cute cosplay. I wonder which card she's holding? Perhaps Windy, her favorite card, or the Hope Card, the last card which is also known as the unsealed card. Guess we'll never know unless this cosplayer herself tells us. Great work!

Card Captor Sakura: Kinomoto Sakura 02 and 03

These girls are probably among the cutest cosplayers I’ve ever seen.

Featuring the student Kinomoto Sakura and the Card Captor Sakura! I love the little wings on Card Captor Sakura’s back, and their hats too! I’m not sure, but they could be sisters, or even twins. I wish there was a larger version of this picture so we can see their faces better, but this was the best that I could come up with.

How do you think they fair with the other Sakura cosplayer?

By the way, I’ve opened up a Blogger account that has the same content as my Sanriotown one. Why you ask? It’s because I’ve been seeing a lot of blogspot blogs that have been taking my content without crediting me. I’ve ranted about this before, and even though most of the pictures are not mine, I’d still prefer to be credited when they’ve obviously taken my pictures and content.

Card Captor Sakura: Yue

The second guardian of the Clow Cards, Yue is the judge who determines whether or not the new master Cerberus chooses is worthy to be his master. Just as Cerberus is the Guardian of the Sun, Yue is known as the Guardian of the Moon, and controls the wind and water. He exists as a human in the form of Tsukishiro Yukito, a close friend of Kinomoto Sakura’s brother Touya.

Alright, alright, obviously he’s missing his wings, but I still find this cosplay to be very impressive. A nice touch with the Clow Cards, really.

Card Captor Sakura: Li Syaoran

Li Syaoran is the distant relative of Clow Reed, the creator of the Clow Cards. Because of this, he believes that he is the rightful inheritor of the Clow Cards, not Kinomoto Sakura. Thankfully, Sakura eventually proves herself worthy to Syaoran, who later becomes her ally.

I’m not sure how the cosplayer looks, but this is a beautiful shot. The green lake looks good on picture, though I’m not sure I’d want to see it in real life. I can’t imagine what moldy lake smells like…

Card Captor Sakura: Kinomoto Sakura

One of the most common characters in cosplay to date, Kinomoto Sakura from the CLAMP Series, Card Captor Sakura has so many costumes to choose from that it becomes hard to recognize a cosplayer portraying the protagonist of the series!

This girl? Well, she has the staff, she has the cards, and she has Keroberos (Cerberus) on her shoulder! Talk about paying attention to details..!

CLAMP would be proud.
